Through CSR Khong Guan Peduli, Khong Guan Group Brings Meaningful Support to Orphans at Masjid Istiqlal
Through its Khong Guan Peduli CSR program, Khong Guan Group provided charitable support to 2,026 orphans at Masjid Istiqlal, reflecting its commitment to spreading kindness and supporting social well-being during the holy month of Ramadan.
Jakarta, March 13, 2026 – In the spirit of sharing during the holy month of Ramadan, Khong Guan Group commits to spread kindness through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Khong Guan Peduli. The Group took part in a charitable program providing assistance to 2,026 orphans, organized by the Badan Pengelola Masjid Istiqlal (BPMI) in collaboration with Istiqlal Global Fund. This initiative forms part of the 1447 H / 2026 Ramadan Amaliyah series under the theme “Green Ramadan, Ramadan Together.”
In partnership with BPMI and other stakeholders, Khong Guan Group distributed care packages and financial assistance to 2,026 orphans under the guidance of Masjid Istiqlal. The event was held at the mosque’s Main Prayer Hall and attended by the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as the Grand Imam of Masjid Istiqlal, Prof. Dr. H. Nasaruddin Umar, MA.
Khong Guan Group’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting social initiatives that create meaningful impact, particularly for orphans and underprivileged communities. Through this program, the company aims not only to provide assistance, but also to bring joy and encouragement to beneficiaries during Ramadan.
